What is it about leftovers that gets people groaning, especially during Ramadan where we’re not supposed to be wasting? Don’t worry, I am totally guilty of this too but I found a way to make leftovers actually fun to eat, especially that keema that has been sitting at the back of the fridge for a […]
How about these BIG FAT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES a la levain bakery style 💁🏽♀️ These cookies took inspiration from the famous NYC Levain Bakery; they’re gooey inside with plentyyy of chocolate and are basically the size of your hand. What’s not to love ?
Why call them pizza dough balls when you could call them PIZZA BOMB! What exactly is a halal pizza bomb? Okay, okay, I’m guilty of being in the deep-fried Ramadan party but I can’t help it. Deep fried oreos, deep fried Korean chicken tenders – guilllttyyy. BUT I decided to change things up and make oven baked buffalo chicken wings smothered in a bright red Buffalo sauce.
As the clock ticks by, I hear you (well, your stomach) thinking “what’s for iftar?”. How about something sweet, something spicy, and something most definitely crunchy. Something like these Korean fried chicken tenders with a side of creamy gochujang mayonnaise – now that’s an iftar worth drooling about.
I love me some naan with a generous slather of butter. But what I love even more is naan stuffed with cheese and topped with garlic and chilli butter. Phew.
