Winter Wonderland is back and boy, is it bigger than ever. Not only do they have more rides, a new 70 metre observation wheel, and bigger candyfloss sticks, they also have more halal options available for us. From pictureworthy fried chicken burgers to Korean bbq steak with chips, the halal food at Winter Wonderland Hyde Park is great this year!

I’ve added a map of the park so you can navigate your way to the halal food without getting lost – good luck ! And don’t worry, all the usual dessert suspects are there: waffles, churros, doughnuts, chimney cakes, and bubble waffles.

BE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK THE HALAL STATUS OF ALL THE ESTABLISHMENTS BELOW BEFORE EATING THERE AS SUPPLIERS MAY HAVE CHANGED SINCE THIS POST WAS PUBLISHED.

OTHER SIDE FRIED CHICKEN

Humongous fried chicken burgers that are both ‘grammable and tasty. Whilst all the menu options sound droolworthy, the chicken kiev burger with parmesan, kiev mayo, and pickles, and the classic buffalo burger are worth the calories.

Halal Status: All chicken served here is halal. Pork is present.

HANOK

You can’t go wrong with Hanok, a Korean bbq street food stall, who serve an assortment of bbq goodies like confit duck leg and also this Korean bbq hanger steak flame-grilled to order, sliced up, and laid upon a bed of chips with a side of chilli kimchi.

FANNY’S KEBAB

Fanny’s Kebab are serving up good quality, no frill kebabs to their hungry customers at Winter Wonderland this year. Think 24-hour marinated lamb leg chunks or 24-hour marinated chicken thighs grilled on an open flame and stuffed into a flatbread or served with rice and/or salad. They also have a kid’s version too. The Persian Fries are a must, must-order!

Here are a few tips so you can enjoy your visit – don’t worry, the food is just below:

  • Download the app so you can book tickets to shows and rides in advance. You can also opt for a fast entry into the park beating the long queues.

  • Red Gate – family gate and is the closesnt entrance to Santa Land
Blue Gate – closest entrance to the ice rink
Purple Gate – closest entrance for pre-booked attractions

  • Avoid packing any drinks as they will be removed at security point.

  • To avoid the crowds, it is best to visit well before the Christmas holiday period and also to go straight after work on a weekday night. If you have kids, visiting on a Thursday/Friday straight after school will help avoid any large crowds and long queues.

  • For parking, it will probably be easier to park near the Paddington entrance as most of the surrounding roads are pay and display.
