Halal Options at Winter Wonderland
For my 16th birthday, TEN years ago, I had booked a large Hummer limousine to take me and my friends to Winter Wonderland for ice skating, followed by a meal at Planet Hollywood. Oh and there was a “neon” dress code too. I’m cringing as I type this – ugh. ANYWAYS back to the point, it has been great to see Winter Wonderland expand so vastly over the years, especially in terms of halal food, so I decided to do the fun part for you guys and eat my way around the park. Here are the halal options at Winter Wonderland for this year.
I’ve added a map of the park so you can navigate your way to the food without getting lost – good luck !
HALAL OPTIONS AT WINTER WONDERLAND
HO HO HALAL
What: Perhaps we should start with the most obvious; Ho Ho Halal, who serve halal beef and chicken hot dogs, as well as burgers. No more looking on in jealousy as others tuck into their bratwursts.
Where: Right next to the Gold Entrance (near Marble Arch)
Price: £5 for a beef hot dog
The Halal: All meats served here are halal.
SHWARMA
What: You’ll be able to spot Shwarma from a distance with their humongous shawarmas rotating away, alongside their shish and vegetable skewers. Be sure to go heavy on the garlic and chilli sauce.
Where: One location can be found near the ice rink and the other is located right next to the Green entrance (towards Victoria)
Price: £8 for a chicken shish/chicken shawarma/lamb shawarma
The Halal: All meats served here are halal
KALIMERA

What: Fresh and tasty greek street food that specialise in chicken, lamb, and halloumi souvlakis. A fantastic refreshing and light snack to eat as you make your way through the park.
Where: Located in the street food section next to the big wheel
Price: £7 for chicken souvlaki
The Halal: All meats served here are halal.
MAKATCHA INDONESIAN KITCHEN

What: When the weather is so cold it’s almost impossible to function, a hot curry is exactly what you need. Good thing Makatcha has found a new (and temporary) home in Winter Wonderland.
Where: Located in the street food section next to the big wheel
Price: £10 for a beef rendang.
The Halal: All meats served here are halal
CHINATOWN
What: A bright little Chinese kiosk serving up hot noodles in a classic take out box.
Where: Unit F7, just opposite the boat ride.
Price: £5-7 for a box of noodles
The Halal: Chicken is halal; no other meats are served here.
I’ll be adding more halal options at Winter Wonderland as the month goes on. Have I forgotten anywhere? Do let me know in the comments below!
