Ceru, South Kensington

Ceru is a Levantine restaurant that can be found in South Kensington. Their menu is made for sharing but lets face it, with dishes like beef fillet with a zhug dressing, a 5 hour roasted lamb shoulder and the liquorice and goat cheese ice cream, you won’t be sharing any time soon! If you’re a coeliac, you’ll be pleased to know they operate an almost entirely gluten-free menu and have been accredited as a gluten-free restaurant by Coeliac UK. Just be aware that this may be a better option for older children.

You can’t go wrong with chicken wings, especially with the kids! Wingstop offers 10 different and delicious flavours for their wings, from garlic parmesan to lemon pepper to the super scorcher atomic wings, and you’ll be able to order boneless versions or tenders too. We also recommend ordering their loaded cheese fries because liquid cheese and fries are a match made in heaven.

Bosphorus Kebab, South Kensington

Bosphorus Kebab makes some of the best doner kebabs in the city and having been closed for a while, they’re back open with a great new refurb. This isn’t your usual doner kebab though; Bosphorus make their doner fresh using good quality cuts of meat so you don’t feel guilty about tucking in. Their chicken shish is also a winner. It makes for a great option if you’re looking for something quick and easy to eat in the car on the way home.

Comptoir Libanais, South Kensington

It can be hard to find a halal restaurant that offers a children’s menu that isn’t your usual chicken nuggets and chips which is why we love turning to Comptoir Libanais. Situated down the road from all three museums, Comptoir Libanais serves your typical Lebanese menu alongside a £5.95 children’s menu that will have you wishing you were a kid again! It is a quick and great value for money option that will slot right into your schedule if you’re museum hopping.
