Hi everyone!
Welcome to the brand new Halal Girl About Town website!!
After a long six months of working on the site, the guys at M&B really pulled it off and brought you this new, easy to use website. I absolutely love it – it’s pink, it’s pretty, and it’s me. I know I had promised this a while ago but better late than never.
After a litte over two years from when I started, close to 100 posts, and 65 restaurants, it was time for an upgrade from my poor old basic blog, and what I bring to you now is an online resource that will hopefully make your halal food hunting a lot simpler.
As you navigate around, you will come across a few new additions. The rating system has changed to offer one rounded score for overall dining experience, but is still based off the same criteria used before. Also, alongside the directory, there is a new map function showing all the restaurants I have visited around London and a second map with all the restaurants I have visited from around the world. I hope I can continue to discover lots of new eateries to share with you!
I welcome you to have a look around, and if you have any suggestions, please do let me know – I would appreciate any feedback.
Now for the results of my little brunch competition I ran last week. Mmmmmm yummy! This lucky person will be able to dine any one of the places covered in my brunch series with a prepaid £50 voucher, so without further ado, the winner is…

I know I wasn’t easy to work with but you guys have done such a great job at making this website more than just a blog, but something that shows everyone a little more about who who Halal Girl is.
