Sidechick is now serving halal chicken

Step aside Nandos, there’s a new roast chicken place in town, Sidechick. Okay, technically it isn’t new – they have been around for a year and a half- BUT they have just dipped into using halal suppliers for their chicken and to us, that counts as new!

From the team behind Patty & Bun, Sidechick was born from an idea of wanting to recreate our memories of childhood meals at home but just the grown up version and from what we’ve read, their chicken is irresistibly juicy, has a crisp and herby skin, and the sides are worth every bite. Count. Us. In.

Here is just a snippet of the menu and what you can expect to find:

  • Half or whole chicken in either Lemon & Herb, Piri Piri or Za’atar
  • Sauces: aioli, burnt leek mayo, hot sauce and herb yoghurt
  • Crisp potatoes with thyme salt (it wouldn’t be a roast chicken without this right?)
  • Fries with chicken skin salt

That’s not everything but enough to get those tastebuds salivating!

Halal Status: Chicken is halal. No pork but alcohol present.
Address: 56 James St, Marylebone, London W1U 1HF
