Korean cuisine has always been loved globally and the K-Pop frenzy has only brought even more popularity to it. Here in London, we’re fortunate that there are more and more halal Korean food options popping up around town. From Korean BBQs to street food classics, here is a list of halal-friendly Korean food places in London to satisfy all your cravings.

Halal Korean Restaurants in London

Korean BBQ & Vegan, Barbican

It’s in the name, Korean BBQ & Vegan offers halal Korean BBQ and plenty of vegan options as well. They are one of the very few Korean restaurant with a fully halal menu. Their Korean Fried Chicken and Korean BBQ are their best sellers, and there are plenty of other dishes and set menus to choose from.

Bento Bab, Aldgate

This is one for the K-Pop fans as Bento Bab features a BTS-themed décor and playlist, alongside with halal chicken and beef options. Korean BBQ aside, there are a range of classic small dishes to enjoy as well, including toppoki, Korean fried chicken, dumplings, and many more.

Be-oom, Farringdon

It’s not really for food per-se but Be-oom is worth a mention as they are the first Korean tea house in London. You can expect an exquisite selection of teas with unique flavour profiles and pair them with delectable vegetarian/vegan-friendly treats such as Korean honey cakes, rice cakes, etc. If you can, grab a seat in the garden which makes a lovely escape from the hustle & bustle of London.

Bari Bari , Whitechapel

The small casual Korean restaurant features a range of traditional Korean dishes and Korean BBQ options. Prices were reasonable and portions are generous. The beef bulgogi for Korean BBQ is quite a tasty pick!

Café Bibimbap, West Ealing

Café Bibimbap is a humble little café in Al Jazeera Mall in West Ealing and is fully halal. Bibimbap is, obviously, what they offer on the menu, along with some simple classic side dishes like Mandu, Japchae, and homemade Kimchi.

Uh K-Dogs n Juicy, Camden

Riding the hype for Korean hot dogs/corndog, Uh K-Dogs n Juicy started out as a home kitchen business in Fulham and now landed themselves a stall at Camden Market. All flavours are halal and vegan options are also available. You can customise your corndog coating as well and choose from the likes of hot Cheetos, French fries, ramen, and many more.

Bunsik London, Leicester Square

The other hot spot for Korean hot dogs is Bunsik in Leicester Square and they always have a crazy queue. Vegetarian options include the potato mozzarella and cheese & cheese flavours, and the beef hotdogs are halal. If you fancy something more out of a bowl, their Teriyaki Chicken Cupbap is halal as well.

Arang, Piccadilly Circus

Located in west end, Arang is a convenient pick for Korean food and they now offer halal chicken & beef options as well! There is a lovely selection of meats and seafood to choose from for Korean BBQ, as well as a variety of traditional Korean side dishes, casseroles, and special set dishes.

Seoul90 Korean Restaurant, Old Street

A popular local favourite around Old Street, Seoul90 Korean Restaurant offers a range of homely Korean dishes with halal chicken and beef options available. The Korean Fried Chicken is no doubt a staple and there are plenty of other options such as salads, soup, and all the classic side dishes. Coffee lovers, they also do a nice Korean-style Coffee too.
