
Where To Celebrate Lunar New Year in London
Happy Lunar New Year!
Whether you are celebrating or want to join in the festivities with your friends, we’ve put together a list of restaurants that are running CNY specials to really bring in the Year of The Tiger. From tiger macaron ice cream sandwiches to an abundance of dumplings, this list is short yet tasty and worth checking out:

Rasa Sayang, Chinatown
As part of the festivities, Rasa Sayang will be running their Lunar New Year special, Yu Sheng aka “prosperity toss”, until the 15th of February. The Yu Sheng from Rasa Sayang is a cold salad made with strips of raw fish, pickled ginger, coriander, shredded vegetables, chopped peanuts, plum sauce and oil – all ingredients that are known to symbolise good health, luck and wealth. To eat it, you all stand around the dish and using chopsticks, toss the ingredients as high as possible!
You are able to eat this at the restaurant or order it via click and collect. This starts from £39.80.

Old Chang Kee
Old Chang Kee are known for their great curry puffs and Singaporean curry laksas that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home but they’ve really rocked the boat with their special Chinese New Year bundle they have launched this year. Running until the end of February, you’ll receive a curry flower pull-apart bun kit, the Singapore laksa kit, curry puffs and if you were one of the lucky ones, pineapple tarts (they seem to have sold out of them though!).
This is available for nationwide delivery and starts from £70.

Wing Wing, Various Locations
To bring in the Year of the Tiger, Wing Wing are running a special spicy strips meal consisting of 6 wings dressed with spicy mayo, fries and an aloe vera juice for £11.50. You are able to eat this fun meal at any of their branches, click and collect or have it delivered home.

Dumplings
Dumplings have been around for more than 1800 years and are considered to be a lucky dish to eat for the Lunar New Year. In fact, it is believed that the more dumplings you eat during the New Year festivities, the more money you can make in the New Year.

Yolkin, Soho

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Mamasons have released a special edition flavour: the red bean ice cream which you can either have in a cone, cup or sandwiched in their irresistible fluffy bilogs. You’ll get a bonus CNY sticker too with every purchase of a red bean bilog.
